There are a number of banking options for students.The main bank in Australia is the Commonwealth Bank. Other banks include St George, ANZ, Westpac and the National Australia Bank. Make sure you check out the various benefits banks offer for Student Accounts- there could be free ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) withdrawals, reduced or no banking fees, and further incentives! However please note some Student Accounts are only available to Australian citizens and permanent residents.
Most of these banks can be found in Broadway shopping centre close to UTS. The only ATM facility on campus is the Commonwealth bank- it is located on level 3 of the Tower building. The nearest ATM nearby UTS is the Commonwealth, near KFC on George St.
