Walking the Street, 2006
Walking the Street (WtS) o6 seeks to animate the streetscape by bringing art out of the galleries and into the public domain. Local, indigenous and regional artists will be showcasing their works in the original concept of 'shopfront' galleries- Walk down the streets of Newtown and Glebe to see a diverse representation of artwork and ideas! Until 22nd October.

Day out at Olympic Park
If you haven't visited the main site where Australia's Olympics were held, make a trip out and enjoy the wildlife, wetlands and parks. A popular site where you can ride bikes, play some ball games and have a bbq, Olympic park is accessible by public transport (if catching a train, take the Western line to Lidcome and then switch for Olympic Park station).

Inspired Floral artwork
Lovers of art should not miss the many floral representations of famous artworks such as Vincent van Gough, Henri Matisse and Aboriginal artist Brownyn Bancroft. Displayed in many sites around the city, a few key floral displays are at Martin Place, Queens Square, Queen Victoria Building and Crown Street Surry Hills (near Shannon Reserve). So if you stroll by, take a moment to appreciate the beauty!
