For fishing lovers there is a large rock platform where many enthusiasts try their luck (and some catch whoppers!). For others not inclined in fishy adventures, there are many nooks, crannies and rock pools to explore, as well as the beach itself. Make sure you try the fish and chips at the Hi Tide Caf&eacute;! </p><p></p><p><strong>Cultural Awareness Week </strong></p><p>UTS is celebrating indigenous identity and culture this week. Hear the stories, musical performances and see the artwork displayed at Concourse Level, Tower building. On Thursday 2<sup>nd</sup> November Aden Ridgeway will be reviewing and reflecting upon current government policies and how they affect indigenous people presently. <em>It&rsquo;s on at </em><em>12.00pm </em><em>Gus Guthrie Theatre 06.2.28. </em></p><p></p><p><strong>Cricket Indoctrination </strong></p><p>The original Ashes urn commands an almost god-like reverence in the hearts and minds of true cricket fanatics. The group fondly call themselves the Sydney Photo Bloggers (SPB), dedicated to capturing everything and anything that may pass their lens. This study is the first collaborative project of all nine of UNICEFS International Protection Advisors, the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Office of the Commissioner on Human Rights. It examines the causes and effects of violence against children. This study will be presented to the United Nations General Assembly in October.<br /><br />Sawon Hong is an accomplished child protection expert. She has held a variety of key position within the UN and various international organisations.
