Public transport woes are bonding moments Let's face it... if you've experienced transport woes in Sydney... you haven't joined a very elite club. Transportation in Sydney is tough because it's such a large area to get around. If you're in the city, there's plenty of buses to catch. Once you hit suburbia, it's a little bit more difficult. Private buses not only cost a fortune, they don't come very often, and are often late. Trains are another topic Sydneysiders like to moan about. It doesn't matter that CityRail seems to be keeping up its promise for running trains on time, there's always something to complain about...like an increase in ticket price!
