Volunteering Overseas > Internships in Australia for Germans! but beware...

‘Carpe Diem Sprachreisen’ is an organisation that organises internships for Germans looking for experience overseas.

You can have a look at their page and try
to understand a little bit but there are a few english parts www.gapyear24.com . I did a language course for 4 weeks at a school called ASPECT college. I had General and Business English which was just a kind of preparation for the internship and a nice way to get back into talking english. Before I went to
Australia I sent some documents like a motivation letter, my CV etc to this
organisation. I aswell told them that I wanted to do an internship in the
area of tourism. At the school I had an internship coordinator. She searched
for a suiting internship for me in the area of tourism and that’s how I got
into the Sales Management of the Sydney Attractions Group.

However, I would actually not recommend ‘Carpe Diem’. I did not have any problems
with them but I heard of a few friends of mine that they flew over to
Oz and the school hadn’t received any docs from the organisation that they
were supposed to search an intership so the internship coordinator hadn’t
found an internship for them yet. And I’ve heard more stories like that.
